The Alliance of Heart Patient Organisations
Global Heart Hub is the first global non-profit organisation established to provide a voice for those affected by cardiovascular disease. As an alliance of heart patient organisations, their aim is to create a unified global voice for those living with or affected by heart disease.
Global Heart Hub raises awareness and understanding of heart diseases by sharing up-to-date information on treatment guidelines, best practices and patient experiences across the world.
Proactive continues to work with Global Heart Hub – and Croí, a founding member of Global Heart Hub – on heart health campaigns to drive awareness of diseases such as heart valve disease, heart failure and of the importance of attending hospital as soon as symptoms appear or worsen.
The #JustGo campaign encouraged heart patients with new or worsening symptoms not to avoid seeking medical help out of fear of contracting COVID-19. The Proactive team devised the creative concept for this campaign, from the slogan to the social media graphics and web development of landing pages.
Heart patients’ health is paramount, even during a pandemic: When Your Heart Says So, #JustGo
Strategy, concept design, national radio ad, social media graphics, web design.
Since the start of the global pandemic, heart attack and stroke victims worldwide have been avoiding hospitals, presenting too late to benefit from life-saving treatment. In addition, individuals with known heart conditions experiencing new or worsening symptoms have delayed seeking medical attention due to fear of contracting COVID-19. Global Heart Hub sought to launch a campaign encouraging people to seek medical help and not to stay home in fear, despite pandemic-related restrictions.
The team at Proactive designed a visually impactful design to anchor the campaign: a simple but effective heart, arrow and hospital symbol. The catchy campaign slogan of #JustGo was chosen for its positivity and energy, and was translated into a total of 14 languages, making it a truly global awareness campaign.
The concept was delivered in the form of social media graphics – both static and animated, campaign landing pages on Global Heart Hub and Croí websites, and local and national radio and TV campaigns.
Worldwide, the #JustGo campaign created 80 million opportunities to be seen/heard online, in print, on TV and radio. It was shared across 18 countries and by influential organisations with more than 1.3 million followers.
Reports were received by Global Heart Hub of patients presenting at hospital with heart attack symptoms after hearing the #JustGo radio ad, and patient testimonials on social media channels confirmed the life-saving importance of this campaign.
