Helping Galway Hospice Drive Awareness and Fundraising
The team at Galway Hospice recognised the need to rebrand their existing website in line with their recently rebranded marketing collateral. The website needed to enable the hospice to tell their compelling brand story in order to facilitate a fundraising strategy, while also informing people of their services, how they can join the hospice team and allowing the organisation to connect with the wider Galway community. All marketing online and offline would then have a consistent message and would tell the hospice story in a clear, simple and engaging way.
As with any palliative care organisation, the information presented needed to be emotive, yet sensitively depicted.
The Proactive design team created an entirely new concept for the Galway Hospice website, including a refreshed colour palette, while retaining the existing rebrand and logo. Recognising the need for fundraising to take an even higher priority than usual, we presented numerous opportunities in prominent locations to capture donations and drive engagement with virtual events.
A header video of the hospice facilities incorporating local sporting heroes conveys a sense of movement and interest on the home page, while the social media feed was introduced to demonstrate the dynamic level of activity in the community on behalf of the hospice.
The new Galway Hospice website allows the hospice team to tell their story and to effectively convey the caring and compassionate environment in which they provide their vital and much needed services.
The new site, with its fresh new look and easy-to-use navigation, has helped the hospice to encourage donations and engagement in virtual events in the current climate, which has seen all charity fundraising move to an online platform.
