Electric Run is the world’s premier night time 5k experience, where participants are an integrated part of the show.
The run consists of “lands of light and sound” that brings the participant into through the 5km course. In 2014, the event had over 1,000,000 participants in over 50 countries
On 22nd March 2014, RunIreland hosted the first electric run in Europe in the RDS Dublin and Proactive Design & Marketing provided marketing and social media consultancy, graphic design and event management.
Following detailed research of the demographics, a structured and planned social media campaign was executed on Facebook and Twitter. The Facebook campaign achieved 20,000 Page Likes in less than 2 weeks, 500 entries in the first 24 hours and 1,000 entries in the first week.
The marketing campaign also consisted of TV Advertising, Youtube Advertising, Online Advertising, College Promotions, Email Campaigns and Giveaways & Promotions.
