Celebrating 60 years in business
In 2022, Gem Oils celebrated 60 years in business. The team at Gem asked Proactive to create a promotional campaign to showcase this impressive milestone which culminated in a celebration lunch with their key customers and staff at their premises in Cavan. As part of the campaign, Gem Oils exhibited at the Tullamore Show and worked with Proactive to maximise the return on this investment by implementing a coordinated campaign which generated over 900 leads and 173 requests for quotes.
Proactive was also responsible for revamping the Gem Oils website.
How Proactive Helped Gem Oils
60 Years Logo
Proactive Design + Marketing and the Gem Oils team worked closely to devise a ’60 years in business’ logo, which was used on the website and related promotional material.
Wall of Fame
The design team created the concept and visuals for a ‘wall of fame’ in the reception area of Gem Oils, celebrating key achievements using photos from the archives, pictures and other accolades.
Celebrating 60 years in business, the achievement was marked with a custom video designed by the Proactive digital team.
Driving awareness and interest with a targeted campaign ahead of the Tullamore Show, where a competition offered entrants the chance to win €1,000 worth of lubricants.
This included social media posts, landing pages and email newsletters to generate views and promote the Gem Oils brand and 60-year milestone.
The competition to win €1,000 of free lubricants was cleverly executed at minimal cost using a newly branded Gem Oils truck as the backdrop.
Competition promotional panels were attached to the truck, so there was no need for expensive marquees or exhibition stands.
