The Role

As a Digital Account Manager, you will work closely with our Senior Digital Strategist and wider digital team. You will be responsible for overseeing digital marketing campaigns, managing client relationships, and driving efficient strategies to achieve business objectives for our retainer clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing strategy, planning, reporting, SEO, and paid advertising.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy: Develop and implement digital marketing strategies and campaigns to meet clients’ objectives.
  • Communication: Manage client accounts and relationships, serving as the main point of contact for all digital marketing initiatives.
  • Management: Delegating tasks with the wider Proactive team as many retainer clients require all services, marketing, design, web and video.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of digital marketing performance data and provide actionable insights.
  • SEO: Oversee SEO to optimise search engine rankings and enhance online visibility.
  • Paid Campaigns: Set up and manage ongoing paid advertising campaigns across Google, LinkedIn and Meta.
  • Social Media: Support our copywriter to curate and manage social media content across various platforms to engage target audiences.
  • Reporting: Competent in generating comprehensive reports, digital audits and competitor analysis.
  • Feedback Implementation: Actively seek and incorporate feedback to improve daily digital marketing activities and client outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a digital marketing role.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient with digital tools such as GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Screaming Frog and SEMrush.
    • Knowledge of all main advertising platforms, Google, LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok and Snapchat.
    • Proven track record of successfully managing digital marketing campaigns and delivering results.
    • Experience with Canva or Adobe Express is a bonus but not required.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and marketing strategies clearly.
  • Motivated: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. A keen eye for detail and ability to learn as you go and upskill when required.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think creatively and strategically to resolve challenges.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to reporting, auditing, and client communications.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
